Profile.....

Course Description......The race starts just up the road from the National School...

This is on the R515 road for Charleville and is uphill for the first 400m until you come to a turn off right onto a quieter country road...

This is the start of a long section which is gradually downhill and very fast to run on...

The 1 mile mark and still downhill...

Long straight section around 1.2 miles...still downhill...

At 1.3 miles, you reach the lowest part of the course when you cross over the River Deel...

At about 1.55 miles, you join the R522 road between Liscarroll and Dromcollogher. You turn right onto it and begin a gradual climb...

The 2 mile mark on the R522...still gently uphill...

At about 2.65 miles, you turn right at the crossroads....

This is probably the hardest part of the course with a climb that lasts for about 300m until it levels off around 2.85 miles.

After 3 mile mark, the road begins to drop gradually...

At around the 3.6 mile mark, you begin the start of a rapid descent towards the finish...

The finish line is on the edge of the village...

Overall......A reasonable 4 mile course with long gradual uphill and downhill sections. Located just 8 miles from Charleville and the N20, it might be of interest to anyone in the North Cork & West Limerick area.
